Growth Prompts Vanguard To Open

Heavy lift specialist and engineering logistics company, Vanguard, has opened an office in Cape Town to accommodate accelerating growth in the region.

Covering about 2 000 m2, the new branch will play host to Vanguard’s heavy lifting equipment and specialised rigging tools.

Branch Manager, Dennis Scholfield, brings extensive experience to the region, along with a highly competent mechanical team. “This branch will be focused primarily on mechanical installation, specialising in the dismantling and reassembly of heavy machinery,” says Scholfield. “The specialised gantries and rigging equipment that we have on site will also allow us to lift and move heavy medical equipment, such as MRI scanning machines.”

Other markets to be serviced by Vanguard’s Cape Town branch include the ports, bottling, labelling, printing, food processing and injection moulding industries.
