Heavy Lifting Project Gallery

               As part of the construction of a new particle board plant for PG
               Bison, Vanguard installed a 150t drying drum, utilising their
               hydraulic gantries. Vanguard offloaded, assembled, lined up and
               welded the six pieces together before lifting and placing the
               drum on trunnion wheels 4m off the ground.
               HESS Telescope – To rig the High Energy Stereoscopic System
               (HESS) telescope, Vanguard used four of its strand-jacks, with a
                total lifting capacity of 480 tonnes, to position the 415-tonne
               satellite dish with dimensions of 25m x 32m.
Two 25m long fermentation tanks, weighing 60t each were rigged
horizontally into the building for a brewery company.
Vanguard’s utilised its 600t and 800t gantry’s to lift
and install a monoblock press for Trident Steel.
               Vanguard is active in the installation of printing presses,
               providing complete services from transportation to rigging and
               mechanical installation.
