newspaper printing lines to complete brewing lines and steel mills.

The company’s plant installation experience extends to the dismantling and relocation of plants both locally and
internationally. The company’s project management capabilities involve full plant and equipment marking, dismantling,
containerisation and shipping and extend to the transportation, the offloading of containers and break bulk cargo, and the
full reconstruction of the plants, including mechanical and electrical installation.

Combining its comprehensive heavy lifting, rigging and transportation fleet with its own team of sub-contractors, Vanguard
offers seamless execution and timeous delivery.

Construction of major chip board plant
Vanguard constructed a major portion of a new chip board plant in Ugie, Transkei – the largest plant of its kind in South Africa.
Vanguard was responsible for the complete mechanical commissioning of the plant. This included the transportation,
offloading, unpacking, installation, positioning and commissioning of over 5 500t of freight. Read more

From Indiana, USA to Uitenhage, South Africa, Vanguard relocated and installed a hot forming line and 2 600t capacity
