Equipment Used
The successful completion of projects is made possible through the use of specialised heavy lifting equipment such as hydraulic gantries, crane trucks, pick and carry cranes, boom trucks, jack and slide equipment, air suspension trailers, and warehousing facilities.

Unique Solutions
Vanguard carried out the complete installation and commissioning of nine 22t Man Roland Uniset towers for Media24, including customs clearing, loading and transportation of the printing press containers from the harbour.

The challenge for Vanguard came when rigging the printing presses into the hall. With the only access on the side of the hall, the towers were craned onto a pre-assembled platform, rigged in sideways, placed on rails and traversed down the length of the hall. Hydraulic gantries then lifted them into final position on press slabs.
